History

• Santefarm was founded in 2006 by Mr. Milaim Abdullahu, Mr. Ph. Sci., as a Limited Liability Company specializing in the wholesale and distribution of pharmaceutical and healthcare products in Kosovo. The company was established after 18 years of experience in the pharmaceutical sector, both in Kosovo and abroad. Santefarm is a member of the Pharmaceutical Association of Kosovo, as well as other professional associations in Kosovo and the region.
• Since 2006, Santefarm has experienced continuous growth and is now considered a leader in the pharmaceutical market of Kosovo and a well-recognized brand not only in Kosovo but also across the region.

Achievements

• Today, Santefarm is the first choice for 98% of pharmacies in Kosovo, thanks to its professional services, qualified staff, wide range of products offered with the best market deals, and strong presence across the market.
• In terms of quality, Santefarm has been certified under the ISO Quality Management System, in accordance with ISO 9001:2008 standards, including Good Distribution Practice (GDP) procedures, certified in 2010 by Bureau Veritas. On February 15, 2017, we were certified under the new ISO 9001:2015 standards, again including GDP procedures, with the certification issued by PECB.

Products / Services

Logistics

Santefarm has over 650 clients whom it regularly supplies with pharmaceutical products, OTC products, cosmetics, as well as other health-related items.

With highly professional distribution from the logistics team and well-organized distribution strategy, Santefarm supplies at least three times weekly 98% of all pharmacies across Kosovo, while pharmacies in Prishtina are supplied several times a day. Besides the retail market, Santefarm’s activities are also focused on meeting the demands of the public healthcare sector. We are successfully present in public tenders through which we supply public healthcare institutions with high-quality products.

Regulatory Affairs

Through our highly professional Regulatory team, Santefarm has managed to register over 300 items in various forms and dosages with the Kosovo Medicines and Medical Devices Agency. në forma dhe doza të ndryshme në Agjencinë Kosovare të produkteve dhe pajisjeve medicinale.
